Wake Up With A Purpose

How do you feel when you wake up? Are you depressed, unmotivated or do you wake up with a purpose? Do you repeatedly hit the snooze button in the mornings or do you get out of bed promptly with ease and a feeling that you want to accomplish so much everyday.

 Maybe you remember when you were a little kid and it was your first day at school. You probably couldn’t wait until that day came and you woke up with a feeling of excitement and a big smile on your face or maybe you had this same feeling when you traveled to your first foreign country. Think of how life could be if you woke up with a similar feeling every morning. If you woke up with a sense of urgency to get closer to your goals.

 Anyone can set goals and most people do. However, successful goal management requires you to establish daily milestones. When establishing goals you must break them down to realistic milestones. Focus on the milestones not the goals. You must also follow an efficient routine otherwise you will feel overwhelmed. A routine creates the structure you need to accomplish your goals, small or big. First structure then goal attainment. Lack of structure creates stress. If you are stressed you will not be motivated to wake up with a purpose.
